the Mojave Desert, Virgin Galactic's space tourism rocket SpaceShipTwo
achieved its first solo glide flight Sunday. The entire test flight
lasted about 25 minutes and the separation was performed without
difficulty.

Virgin Galactic's fledgling space tourism rocket was taken aloft over the California desert on an inaugural test flight Monday attached to the wing of its mothership, WhiteKnightTwo. Eventually, SpaceShipTwo will be carried up to 50,000 feet and released.

nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) probe. The probe is capable of high
