Bruker Corp. has introduced two liquid chromatography-triple
quadrupole (LC-TQ) mass spectrometers, the high-performance EVOQ Qube and
ultrahigh-sensitivity EVOQ Elite.
The EVOQ LC-TQ systems incorporate Bruker's Advance ultrahigh-pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC) systems. The systems also feature Vacuum-Insulated Probe (VIP) heated electrospray technology, which preserves and ionizes thermally fragile molecules with high sensitivity; the Active Exhaust atmospheric pressure ionization source with a robust orifice vacuum interface; the flat-tuning Interlaced Quadrupole Dual Funnel (IQ-DF), which maximizes sensitivity; and PACER software, which enables exception-based data review.
The lens-free triple-quad mass filter design, which enhances MRM performance, is standard on EVOQ systems, making the EVOQ LC-TQ easier to use and maintain. Other high-performance TQ features include Bruker's Compound Based Scanning (CBS) technology, novel VIP heated-ESI and APCI ion sources, fast 14,000 amu/sec scan speed, and 25 msec positive/negative ion switching.
