SGD Inc. has announced its enhanced high-capacity gas
purifier housing Model 8000A, with a rated operating pressure of 1,500 psig.
The Model 8000A is constructed of a machined aluminum shell
that accepts a high-capacity replaceable cartridge. The shell may be
permanently mounted when installed in the gas line and can be serviced without
disturbing the line connections. Spring pressure holds the cartridge against
the sealing gaskets to prevent the gas to be purified from by passing the cartridge.
The ΒΌ-in NPT female side inlet and top outlet are machined into the purifier
body eliminating the more fragile connections of previously available units.
