Sievers InnovOx On-Line Total Organic CarbonGE Analytical Instruments has launched the Sievers InnovOx On-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer. The InnovOx On-Line is designed for the industrial wastewater, environmental, and process water industries. The InnovOx (“Innovative Oxidation” technology) uses high-temperature and pressure to convert an aqueous sample matrix into supercritical water, a phase in which the water is neither liquid nor gas, and where supercritical water oxidation can occur. This results in more efficient oxidation, better TOC measurement accuracy and precision, and the elimination of problematic sample contamination after every analysis.

The Sievers InnovOx measures from 0.5 to 50,000 parts per million (ppm) TOC, and complies with ASTM standard methods, ISO, and EPA regulations. It features extended calibration stability, user-configurable alarms and outputs, an Ethernet Web browser interface for remote monitoring, and an intuitive color touch-screen display. It requires just a few hours of annual preventive maintenance and minimal parts replacement for extended uptime.
