The KT 1000 Inside Diameter marking attachment is designed to address the often “awkward” setup and tooling required to access marking the inside surface(s) of rings, tubes, flanges, etc.
A machine tool quality dual ball slide (with height adjustment) is used to support the marking head while it moves in through the ID surface. The standard Kwikmark and KwikTurn cylindrical attachment is used to rotate the part and actuate the head during the marking operation.
The KT 1000 is modular and easily removable from the Kwikmark system.
The product is suited for marking: steel, aluminum, cast iron, forgings/castings, coated/plated surfaces, brass/bronze, plastics, and tool steel (up to 60 Rc).
The unique dot peen process “floats” on the material surface during the marking operation, making it suited for flat, curved, and irregular surfaces, as well as rough castings.
