Parker Hannifin Corp. has introduced the Parker Balston NitroVap-1LV and NitroVap-2LV Nitrogen Generators. These systems are non-electrical, miniature bench or wall mounted units which produce over 320 LPM or pure evaporation-grade nitrogen. They require less than 1 square foot of bench space and can supply more than 100 evaporator nozzle positions.
Nitrogen is produced by utilizing a combination of filtration and membrane separation technologies. Existing laboratory compressed air utility is filtered by high efficiency coalescing filters which remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. Hollow fiber membranes then subsequently separate the clean air into a concentrated nitrogen stream and oxygen enriched permeate stream. The oxygen rich stream is vented from the system.
The user interface provides inlet compressed air control to eliminate compressed air consumption while the sample concentrator is not in use. These systems come with a standard one-year system warranty.
