AuroVist—the First Gold Nanoparticle X-ray Contrast Agent for MicroCT Use

Nanoprobes, Inc. has released AuroVist, a new x-ray contrast agent for research animal use based on the company’s gold nanoparticle technology. Unlike iodine, AuroVist has very low viscosity and osmolality, and may be injected and used in small blood vessels without the risk of vascular damage.
