It is an insecticide which can control a broad spectrum of insects with extremely low mammalian toxicity due to its unique mode of action: activation of ryanodine receptors. Rynaxypyr can be used to control a wide variety of chewing and sucking insects on a broad range of crops throughout the world. It can be applied in a variety of different ways including conventional tank spraying, drip irrigation, seed treatment, and soil incorporation.
