Juggling a cold potato
A staff member at MDS Pharma Services removes samples from liquid nitrogen as part of the company’s cell-based assay work. The company, which offers a wide variety of cell assay and ligand binding products, as well as a host of other services, is emerging from a restructuring this summer as parent company MDS Inc., based in Canada, makes changes to both its pharmaceutical and analytical business branches.
