KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, Germany, has introduced the Multitec-RO series of desalination pumps, which have ceramic bearings, a discharge head of up to 800 m, and a maximum flow rate of 850 m3/hr. With a capacity of 10,000 m3 water per day, they are suitable for small- to medium-size installations, such as hotels or ships.
