Huntsman Corp. said Friday it has priced a $350 million private offering of senior subordinated notes. The 10-year notes will carry an interest rate of 8 5/8 percent.
The offering total is up from $250 million that Huntsman had cited when it first announced its plans on Wednesday.
The notes, which mature on March 15, 2020, will be offered through the chemical maker's wholly owned subsidiary, Huntsman International.
The offering is expected to close on March 17. Huntsman, based in The Woodlands, Texas, said it plans to use proceeds from the sale to refinance previously issued notes.
Shares of Huntsman rose 7 cents to $13.52 in afternoon trading.
