Housing for security officials at the recent Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, might end up in Williston.
The Halliburton oil service company is seeking city permission for temporary housing.
The housing units are constructed by Target Logistics. A spokesman for the Massachusetts company says that the complex targeted for Williston was used at the Olympics.
Williston's Planning and Zoning Commission is recommending the full City Commission grant a zoning change request by Halliburton Co. to allow for the use of the temporary housing. The Council is to take up the matter on Tuesday.
