Perot Systems will buy BearingPoint China business

Perot Systems Corp. said Monday it will buy BearingPoint Management Consulting Ltd. for an undisclosed amount.

The management and technology consulting company has offices in Shanghai and Beijing, Perot Systems said. It said BearingPoint China consults with the energy, automative, insurance, and financial service industries. Perot said it won key contracts with Chinese health care and manufacturing businesses earlier this year.

Last month, Perot Systems agreed to be acquired by Dell Inc. for $3.9 billion, or $30 per share.
