Omni Energy gets 2-year platform contract

Omni Energy Services Corp. has signed a two-year contract to deploy three automated cleaning units on an offshore production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

Carencro-based Omni provides various petroleum-related services. The company says it expects the units to be installed within the next two months.

Omni did not disclose how much it will be paid for the work.
