Ted Hyman, Managing Partner of Zimmer Gunsul Frasca, will be giving the keynote address at the Fall 2009 Laboratory Design Conference on “Envisioning the Carbon-Neutral Lab.” Hyman’s session on net-zero design through select project work, including a new laboratory building in California, demonstrates how a new set of core principles has allowed other projects to take up advanced systems design for cost-effective improvements in performance.
Within this PODcast, Hyman expresses his thoughts on term “carbon-neutral” as it applies to laboratory buildings, the key issues in creating a carbon-neutral lab, and improving the environment through carbon neutral labs.
