The U.S. Green Building Council recently released a list of companies with the greatest number of LEED Accredited Professionals on the payroll. The stats clearly represent a moving target since employees often move from firm to firm, but the list of the top 15 included a mix of architecture, engineering, construction, equipment, and real estate firms, with LEED AP rosters numbering from ~400 to nearly 1,500. In descending order, the firms are: Johnson Controls Inc., Turner Construction Co., Gensler, HOK, Perkins + Will, Jones Lang LaSalle, Trane, Stantec, Gilbane Construction Co., Skanska, CB Richard Ellis, Arup, McCarthy Building Cos., DPR Construction, and URS Corp.
