Description: Multidisciplinary teaching and research facility supports the advancement of genomics, biomedical and related research areas, focused on the development of new products such as medicinal plants, safer foods, stress-resistant crops and bio-based products. Labs support study of plant, insect and microbial genomics. A bioinformatics suite, training center and research labs will service more than 200 faculty, grad students, post-docs and staff researchers. Floorplans are modular and are enhanced with bright colors and generous natural daylighting. Also included are a 100-seat auditorium, a lobby with views of an exterior landscaped plaza, and an atrium providing interactive meeting spaces.
