Group formed to certify sustainable products

The Green Product Assn. has been formed by the nonprofit Green Roundtable/NEXUS, which focuses on sustainable design. The association aims to make product performance criteria and metrics more readily available, and UL Environment will participate with third-party product certification services. In a survey NEXUS conducted last year, about 16,000 respondents said that access to unbiased information was hindering their efforts to incorporate sustainable materials more fully in their building projects.
