In conjunction with the annual Laboratories for the 21st Century conference (Albuquerque, Sept. 28-30), DataCenters21 will be a symposium focused on making the design and operation of these energy-intensive facilities more sustainable. Topics to be covered include IT equipment power use; environmental conditioning issues; and cooling options. Organizers are now soliciting abstracts for presentations to be given at the meeting, and are particularly interested in abstracts relating data centers to labs.
