The National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Cornell Univ. have launched a website to help campus-based research institutions develop clean energy and carbon reduction strategies. Research campuses consume more energy per ft2 than other types of facilities, with lab buildings and data centers as major users of power. The site is designed to help campuses establish a baseline carbon inventory and develop and implement climate action plans. www.nrel.gov/applying_technologies/climate_neutral/
