Missouri Innovation Park, a planned 500-acre development in Blue Springs, has announced that it has hired a design team to complete its master plan. Blue Springs Growth Initiative Inc., the management firm for the park in suburban Kansas City, has retained a team consisting of Treanor Architects PA, Kansas City; Confluence, a landscape architecture and planning firm, also in Kansas City; and Olsson Associates, an engineering firm with offices in Olathe and Overland Park. Also on board with the project is MC Realty Group. (Trammell Crow Co., the previously announced developer, pulled out in August.) The Univ. of Missouri is slated to occupy anchor facilities in the park, which will also include a variety of office spaces, lab incubator space, leasable wet-lab space, and a golf course.
